Hair Care Tips
Raw hair is hair that comes from a single donor, meaning that it is chemically unprocessed hair coming from one person. Because the hair is coming straight from a donor’s head, it will react to weather and products accordingly. Raw hair in general, is a bit more maintenance than regular virgin hair because extra chemicals aren't being added in order to make the hair more manageable. One must treat it like his/her own hair.
Washing Raw Hair
*Always wash bundles, closures, frontals, and wigs stroking hair in a downward motion, and never up and down, as to limit tangling*
- Completely wet hair with cool to warm water (hot water may dry out cuticle)
- Add shampoo and stroke hair in downward motion (NEVER RUB BACK AND FORTH as this may cause tangling)
- Once shampoo is rinsed out of hair, add a generous amount of conditioner, gently detangle from the ends to the root, let sit for 10-15 minutes, and rinse.
- Add a few sprays of dry oil to lock in moisture, and let air dry for best results
- If wearing curly hair, add leave in conditioner and use Denman brush to properly define curls, while also letting it air dry for best results
